HOW OLD DO I NEED TO BE?
You need to be 18 years old to have a tattoo at Garths Tattoo Studio. If you are fortunate enough to look younger than 18, then please bring ID such as a passport or driving license.
HOW DO i get a tattoo?
- Book an appointment
- Speak with the tattoo artist
- Bring references of designs you like, but understand we will draw our own version
- Leave a deposit
- Show up for the appointment
HOW LONG DOES A TATTOO TAKE?
The time taken to complete a tattoo depends on the level of detail and how large the design is. The larger and more detailed the design, the longer it will take.
Many of our customers have their stages tattooed in stages. It breaks up the sessions and spreads the costs.
TATTOO AFTERCARE
- The first 2 weeks of your tattoo’s life are probably the most important.
- Once your tattoo is complete it will be cleaned, have antiseptic cream applied, then be covered with a film dressing.
- Leave the dressing on for 3-4 hours, then remove it.
- Wash off any plasma with warm soapy water, rinse then pat dry with a clean towel.
- Leave the tattoo to dry completely, then apply a small amount of Savlon cream twice a day for the first three days, then baby lotion twice daily.
